Students from the northern province of Ninh Binh won the second prize and two fourth prizes at the National Science and Technology Contest for the North held in Hanoi from March 9 to 12.

Giang Quoc Hoan and Do Huu Toan, 12th graders from Hoa Lu A High School in Ninh Binh province have won the first prize in the national science and technology contest for high-school students in the Northern region in the 2017-2018 academic year.

The 19th Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) kicked off at Hanoi's University of Science and Technology on May 6, attracting the participation of 188 contestants from 25 countries and territories.
